What is the Foundation Academy Program? 

Boise Timbers|Thorns Foundation Academy is targeted for Under-7 and Under-8 players seeking a bridge between our Recreational and Formation Competitive programs. We aim to create the most comprehensive, inclusive, and enjoyable developmental environment for players looking to take the next step in their soccer journey.

Schedule Expectations

Foundation Academy Programming is scheduled during the week to allow players to participate in the academy environment and play with their recreational teams on the weekends. We expect our Future Academy groups to participate in 1-2 Jamborees (Friendlies/Scrimmages) with other Clubs and to compete in the Boise Timbers|Thorns Fall Classic in October and the Memorial Day Classico in May.

All training and games are under the guidance of the Formation Program Director, Gio DeMartini, and our Formation and Future Academy Coaches.
